B L I P is the debut, self-titled record by the collaborative band between Dom Spitaliere and Alex Kuhn. It can only described as “Submarine Music." Heavy in influence from both psychedelic kraut-rock/experimental as well as electronic club/trance music; the result is a ~30 minute album: a gradual, sinking descent deeper into each layer of the abyss 4 viasongs, the tracks representing the different layers. Some induce a trance, others induce dance.

(Each song drones in one key till the ear becomes accustomed to it, then every following song drops in a series of minor 3rd [4 note] intervals growing each time in multiples, causing an almost illusory auditory effect that the listener has "sunk down a level" as a song changes from one into the next, most noticeable between the first two tracks).

Alex splits his single guitar signal through his many homemade-pedals into 2 separate amps with distinct tones and effects for each, sounding like 2 guitarists at once while adding an "organic" atmosphere to the otherwise mechanical sounds; Dom produces the digital “slowed-kraut-rock," electronic drums/sub-bass beats,He then records a separate analogue bass-guitar layer as well as a DX-7 FM synthesizer on top.
